Ghars See the route العربية

Your money, planted in what's real.

Follow a sample 10,000 SAR into the sukuk, gold and screened shares it would buy, and see the contract each one rests on.

ConceptA portfolio concept with demo data. It is not an investment offer, and no money can be deposited.

Every halal app says it is halal. Ask it what your money owns.

How a riyal becomes a real asset

  1. A sample deposit arrives.

The page follows one demo deposit of 10,000 SAR from start to finish. No real money moves.

  2. It buys things that exist.

Sukuk certificates, allocated gold and shares in screened companies. Each is part-ownership of a real asset, never a loan.

  3. The return is what those things earn.

Rent, an agreed mark-up, a share of profit, the gold price, share prices. It can fall as well as rise. One flat fee is the only charge.

Every riyal ends up in something you could drive to.

Scroll to trace a sample deposit. The stops are examples of what sukuk and gold can finance, not real holdings.

Factory line, musharaka

The sukuk is a partner in a production line. Profit is shared by an agreed ratio; a loss falls by each side's share of the capital.

The stops, in order

  1. 1 Riyadh: Your sample deposit 10,000 SAR enters a pooled account and is split by the target mix: 46% sukuk, 22% gold, 32% shares. See the sample after a year
  2. 2 Al-Ahsa: Packing equipment, murabaha The sukuk buys the equipment and sells it on to a date farm at cost plus an agreed mark-up, paid in instalments. The return is fixed in the contract. Read about sukuk
  3. 3 Dubai: Allocated gold Specific bars in a vault, recorded against each holder. The value follows the gold price, up or down. Read about gold
  4. 4 Jeddah: Port warehouse, ijara Sukuk holders own the warehouse and lease it to an operator. The return is the rent. Read about sukuk
  5. 5 Cairo: Factory line, musharaka The sukuk is a partner in a production line. Profit is shared by an agreed ratio; a loss falls by each side's share of the capital. Read about sukuk

The other 32% sits in shares of screened companies, listed on exchanges, not on a map.

Three places a riyal can go.

Sukuk

Part-ownership of a real asset or project.

The contract decides the return: rent under ijara, an agreed mark-up under murabaha, a share of profit and loss under musharaka or mudaraba.

Ijara
Rent, set in the lease.
Murabaha
Cost plus an agreed mark-up.
Musharaka
Profit by ratio, loss by capital.
Mudaraba
Capital from holders, work from a manager.

Gold

Allocated gold: specific bars, recorded against a name.

The value follows the gold price. A pooled claim on gold is not the same thing.

Screened shares

Shares in listed companies that pass a Sharia screen.

Core business must be halal; interest-bearing debt below 30% of market value; non-halal income below 5% of revenue, and given away.

Demo186 of 1,240 companies reviewed pass this quarter.

Work out zakat on both nisab bases.

Zakat falls due on your own date: one lunar year after your wealth first reached the nisab. This tool does the arithmetic; the judgement stays with you.

Zakat is 2.5% of the whole zakatable amount, once it reaches the nisab and a lunar year has passed. Not 2.5% of the part above the nisab.

Demo prices for 1 October 2026: 24-karat gold 480.00 SAR a gram, silver 5.80 SAR a gram. Check today's prices before you pay.

A guide, not a fatwa. Scholars differ on how shares are counted; ask a qualified scholar about your own case.

The paperwork a live product would owe you

Ghars is a concept, so none of these documents exist. Ask any real provider for all four before you deposit a riyal.

Sharia board charter

Who sits on the board, their qualifications, how they are paid, how often they meet, and whether they can stop a product.

Screening method

The business test and the ratios each share must pass: interest-bearing debt, interest income, non-halal revenue, and how the impure part is given away.

Signed rulings

One ruling for each structure: every sukuk contract, the gold custody, the share screen. Each with the question asked, the date and the names of those who signed.

What careful people check first

I read the screening method before the marketing page. That order told me what kind of company this was.

It showed my zakat on both nisab bases at once. I chose silver and stopped guessing.

No rate and no “guaranteed returns” banner. Just what each riyal owns, and the contract behind it.

Questions to ask before you trust an app

How is this different from a savings account?

A savings account lends your money and pays a rate set in advance. Here every riyal buys part of an asset: rent comes from a leased building, a mark-up from a sale agreed up front, a share of profit from a partnership. Gold and shares are owned outright.

What if an asset does badly?

The sample's value falls with it. Ijara rent and a murabaha mark-up are agreed in advance, but they still depend on the other side paying. Nothing here is guaranteed.

Can I open an account?

No. Ghars is a portfolio concept made to show a web design. There is no app, no account and no way to deposit money.

What does allocated gold mean?

Specific bars recorded against your name, not a claim on a shared pool. A live product would name its vault and publish the custody agreement; this page names none because none exists.

How does the zakat tool work?

It takes 2.5% of the whole amount you enter once that amount reaches the nisab, on both the silver and the gold basis. It assumes a lunar year has passed. A guide, not a fatwa.

Who would screen the shares?

In a live product, a Sharia supervisory board approves the screen and a team runs it every quarter. Ghars has no board; the screen on this page is a common one, shown as an example.
